Well we just got back from the Canine Dermatologist. They tested her for 64 things. And guess what, she is allergic to ALL 64.  She is allergic to all grass, weeds, trees, insects, cats and ....."humans"  .
We have to go back and she has to stay the whole day while they do her immune therapy. Then we have to go back to get the allergy medicine and learn how to give the shots.
It has been a long day. Two trips to the vets that is an hour away. |

I know how she feels, I'm allergic to dogs, cats, dust, etc. Can't believe she's allergic to humans...  |

Allergic to humans?!?!?!?!?! I guess if we can be allergic to dogs, they can be allergic to humans. I hope everything works out okay for your baby. |

Good grief !!! Never heard of a dog being allergic to humans.. :=(
How could one dog be allergic to 64 things???

| Wow! I guess she is a pretty miserable little dog. I know how aggravating just a little touch of seasonal allergies can be, but to be allergic to just about everything! |

Yes, the test was accurate. The scale is 0 to 4, 4 being the worse and 0 being no allery at all. She did not score any 0's or 1's. She scored all 2's and 3's. She scored three 4's. She has 64 little dots on her side. The vet showed me which ones were which. The three 4's looked like raw skin. All the other spots were very red welts.
I knew she was miserable but i feel really bad that I let it go this far. She will be on shots every 14 days and she will have to have a benadryl injection before each allergy injection. |
