I'm happy to report that my Snoopy's urine is now crystal free due to his new diet!!

Snoopy had crystals in his urine. I talked with my holistic vet, and she explained to me that low PH does not allow for crystals to break down in dog's urine. Low PH is caused by high carbs in the dog's food. She said to feed him more meat/protein... I had to reduce Snoopy's carbs to increase the PH so the crystals would dissolve in a higher PH urine, so I switched my babies from Eagle Pack Holistic Sardine formula (which is a good food) to Wellness CORE Ocean Formula (grain free, high protein) and Snoopy has been on it a month +. I had him re-tested this weekend and he had a clean bill of health!!

So now in addition to kibble, my babies get an occasional can of Salmon (people stuff) mixed in and sometimes some canned Wellness 95% salmon dog food.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY my Snoopers Poopers!!
