I don't make my own, but I found an all natural ear wash several years ago at a health food store. I don't pour the liquid in like they say, but dip a q-tip in the liquid and gently squab the ear, to get it closer to body temp before squeezing a few drops into the dogs ears. It takes the itchiness away, and really soothes the ears...plus it smells nice.
