My 11 year old female lab had been "dripping" just a little bit over they years, mostly during the summer months when she drinks more.  Lately I noticed it has been getting a little worse, nothing uncontrollable or gross, but I know it's happening.  So I took her to the vet today and he put her on PROIN.  1½ tablets 2x a day... then if that stops it, I am to gradually reduce the dose until she makes it to only 1 tablet once a day.  My question is this:  has anyone in here ever had this problem with their females and if so, do you have any experience with this particular drug?  Any bad side effects?
