Ok everyone sorry to over share but Emma has had diarrhea since yesterday afternoon. I wasn't worried at first but over time her poo has just gotten runnier and runnier.  Now it's very hard to pick up.  We basically have been praying that if she has an accident that she does so anywhere put the carpet.  I know diarrhea subjects have come up before but I couldn't find any in the health section.  Her appointmentfor her shots is on Thursday.  Should I wait that long if it doesn't clear up or can I give her something?  How long should I wait to even think of giving her something or taking her to the vet?  Apollo has had diarrea before but not like this.  His has always been just like one poo then he's fine but her's is continuing.  Hope that made sence! (?)  I feel sooo bad for her but I don't want to panic but then I don't want her to feel bad and wait to help her.  If I wait too long I'd fell like a bad rattie mom.  I may just call my vet.

Thanks guys!

Call the vet, it will set your mind at ease. Is she drinking water? Dehydration is the risk with bad diarrhea/vomiting. Is she throwing up?

Meanwhile, try some plain yogurt...just a little...to see if it helps.

She IS NOT... throwing up, or acting strange

As long as she is drinking and acting fine I wouldn't worry too much. (Haha look who I'm saying this too!)  We don't run to the docs everytime we get a case of the runs!! lol  It is just the bodies way of clearing things out.  Maybe she ate something that didn't agree with her.  If she isn't drinking or acting lethergic or sicker then I would give the vet a call.  Maybe stick with some rice and cottage cheese or chicken for a little bit instead of her normal food to help settle her belly.

I agree - if she just has the runs and you aren't too worried then just give her the bland food.
Jolene - you're becoming a calmer mommy!!!

Try a little canned pumpkin or a small piece of banana if she'll eat it. Works the same way as it does in humans and firms up the stools. She's your baby! Don't worry about gross! We've all been there!
I hope she's feeling better today

Why do they always get sick on Fridays?
I would try giving her the canned pumpkin and no other food for a few hours. Be sure she has accesss to water, like Mary Beth said you need to keep her hydrated. I want to say you can give them Pedialyte- maybe ask the vet about that on the phone?
Probably just a 24 hr tummy thing. She eat anything new yesterday? That could be the cause.
