Teeth!  Their front teeth are white and lovely.  Their back teeth all show signs of plaque build up.  Not bad but it's there.  I have tried:  brushing teeth; dental wipes; marrow bones; nylabone mint chews (which they love to chew on but still have plaque), nutrident edibles, denta stix, greenies (before I knew the old kind where dangerous), etc.

Now, Skipper's I can understand because he wasnt' cared for very well before we got him.  But the others - I've cleaned their teeth since they were pups!  A former member once said her rattie had trouble like that because he didn't produce enough saliva...I wonder if mine are that way?

Any ideas?  Cause no one else seems to have this problem.

I have no clue on this MB?! Maybe it's just normal for them? Does the vet clean their teeth at all? Maybe they just need a real good cleaning and scraping by the vet.

Loco has had a vet dental but not the little ones. Mayfly just turned 2! and Mitzy is only 6 mos. younger so I didn't think they should be getting build up so young. I am going to take them in for cleanings soon.
