Yes, a snake got Zoo Zoo. She is all better now, but she is one lucky little dog. I did not see it happen but think it was a copperhead. I have the type of land that copperheads love and usually see one or two a year. The big dogs do not get too close but guess this little rat terrier had to put her nose were it did not belong.....she got bite on her nose.    Talk about a swollen nose....it was so big.....pure little girl.  I just happen to have the right type of medication on hand and toke her to the vet the next morning.  She is back to normal and I'm hoping she knows not to get so close next time

Poor baby! Snakes scare me. Hopefully, she learned her lesson and will stay far away from any snakes in the future.

Do you and Robin want to try to meet up this Saturday, April 21? Robin said something about coming to her house, as Cali hasn't had her shots yet.

Yes, I hope she has learned her lesson!!!!!!!!!! I hate that she had to learn it the hard way.

Zoo Zoo and I can do this Saturday, April 21. In the afternoon?

I'm glad your puppy dog is OK.  I have two friends that were bitten by copperheads.  One was in the hospital for a few days but missed 2 weeks of work (she was bitten on the calf and was wheelchair bound for a week - it was so painful that she couldn't even use crutches), and the other was bitten by a juvenile and was in the hospital a week.  They can be really nasty, especially the young ones.
