So the vet said a bland diet.  Rice, chicken...........what else?  Can I add pumpkin to that for his tummy?  What else is considered to be bland?

When Orvis had to be on a bland diet i gave him brown rice and really lean browned ground beef (he is alergic to chicken!). Also toast works.  What is wrong with your guy?

Careful on the hamburger! It's greasy and might make tummy worse. I'd just stick to chicken, rice, yogurt....won't hurt to eat that for a couple of days.

yea hamburger is pretty greasy...that is why we did extreamly lean....orvis is harder cuz he is alergic to everything....i would think turkey would be fine but the best thing to do would be to ask your vet what they reccomend.

Cottage cheese is really good for an upset stomach too. It's considered bland. We used to give our lhasa apso cottage cheese with rice when his tummy was upset.
