Bless her heart! I hope that it's nothing serious. Is she bad about chewing up stuff and swallowing it? She might have eaten something that won't pass. Prayers going up that everything will come out ok. I know you are worried to death.

She rips things up but does ot usually swallow but we were outside andshe was digging again. Might have ate something form the yard.  No acrons, mushrooms or bad plants in our yard.  I did give her some ice cubes pieces at 545 am and they stayed down and some more at 645 and so far they have stayed down.  She does appear to be dehydrated,  was not impressed with the emerge3ncy on call doctor for our vet.  If I want to bring her in it will be $150 just to walk in the door.  I called the vet office that doctors our foster kitty and was expecting to get an ansering machine (630 am) but instead got the doctor!!!!  He said to give her piece of ice every hour and in they stay  down the next hour give her some more pieces.  He will see her at 1030 this morning and may give her an iv to hydrate her.  I told him about the on call one and he said that is terrible.  He will charge me the office visit of $38 (their normal appointment price) and for the iv if she needs that and meds if she needs that.

Sydney is spending the day and night at the hospital.  From throwing up she became dehydrated and the vet did blood work and found out the reason for the vomiting is Sydney has pancreatious (sp.).  We will have to watch her diet. No fatty foods + low fat diet.  She is doing much better.  They put in an iv and gave her medication to stop the vomiting.  Tonight, they are going to give her icecubes to have.  If she does not vomit tnight or tomorrow morning she can come home in the afternoon

Poor girl! Michelle, had she been on a fatty diet or something? I wonder what caused this for her.

Bless her heart. Hoping that you can bring her home tomorrow. You have an understanding vet, not to charge you for the "off hours" visit.

No fatty diet.   Se would get asmallscoop of ice cream every now and then but nothing lthat we could come up wit.  Vet said that it just happens sometimes.

The vet called last night at about 930 and said she still had not thrown up and wentoutside with him and peed. She is also starting to bark at the other dogs that are there as well.

Our total bill is $350.  Office call, blood work, xrays, hospital stay and three calls to us through out the day and evening updating us.   This vet was so very nice.

Syd threw up today at the vets so she has to stay until tomorrow for sure.  Vet is going to go over what foods to get for her tomorrow as well.  He said that it will not hurt Sonic if we let him eat it as well.  Maybe tomorrow she will come home.

Poor Syds.....Good she's at the vets though as they can keep her hydrated with sub cutaneous fluids or an IV. I hope she feels much better by tomorrow.
