Has anybody ever used this cream for mange? My vet gave it to me for Chloe. |

Never heard of it but I did google it real quick. Just a topical mange treatment but it does emphasize NOT to use any other pesticides or topicals with this treatment, so if she is on flea treatment right now you shouldn't give that. Here's the link I found.

| Thanks for the info, she hasn't had her frontline yet.This stuff is gross it's yellow and like butter and not to include greasy!!!! But I got the medicine from a assistant because the vet was busy, she didn't bother to tell me anything about it |

| Well that was nice of them now wasn't it?! All I read was to apply it to the spots and rub until absorbed......you may want to check with the vet though if they didn't give you instructions. |

| I was also told if gets worse to call them back. Worse do they mean if she's hairless.LOL The bad part is it's only on her blue hair. |

I am using the same stuff right now. braeli is fine with Frontline and the cream. The cream is ONLY applied to the areas that are thinnning/balding and slightly around it. you need to make sure IT DOES NOT GET IN THE EYES!!!! he emphasized that alot!
Frontline is topical in its application but is absorbed into the body. no issues there. at least braeli has had none... yet. =/
this cream is greasy as can be... but it seems to work. i have used it now for 2 weeks along with shots from the vet... she had her 2nd shot yesterday and a 3rd coming up in 2 more weeks. a combination of teh shot and cream should work... otherwise its the BATH!!!! and i was warned not to want to do the TOXIC BATH by my vet... its harsh he says! |

| I was only given the cream nothing else was mentioned. We have been doing it for a week so far.She only has a few spots on her back and one on her head. |

braeli has 1 spot on her head... one on her muzzle... 1 between the eyes...
the vet said when you see your dog get really itchy that means the mites are dying... ITCHY is a GOOD sign! |

my vet sadi that she uses goodwinol for localized mange. APparently Toa's was generalized so they put him on ivermectin. BUt yes, she basically said if its only in a few spts that you can rub this stuff on and it will help along the process....Toas hair finally seems to be coming back slowly but surely!  |

| I had the paper which had which kind it was and lets just say Chloe was enterntained in the car with it. She only has a spot on her head about the size of an eraser and then she has a few spots on her back like the same size. |

| if you are using goodwinoil it is demodectic mange.... again alonmg with the shots my vet has given her and the cream, braeli is very itchy (again a good sign), her rednesss is gone and her hair is coming back in slowly. no worries... |

| My little girl was never red or anything she was just bald in her spots, she's getting better a little at a time. If you look in my avaitar that's her and you can see the spot on her head by her ear |
