White vinegar removes dirt and debris and restores a healthy balance in your dog’s ears. You'll dilute the vinegar, pour the recommended amount into your dog’s ear canal, allow it to soak as you massage it briefly, then wipe out excess with a soft cloth. Cleaning your dog once a day may help his dog ear yeast infection. When his ear infection is better, use this solution a few times a week to keep your dog’s yeast at bay

Don’t use vinegar if there are any open sores in the ear. A garlic pod soaked overnight in olive oil works well in such cases. Remove the garlic and put five to six drops in the ear, twice daily for 7 to 10 days. This will also help in refurbishing the animal’s immune system.

The vinegar is equal parts vinegar and water and the garlic is one pod not the whole bulb.

Sounds like a douche for the ears...Reni had a yeast infection in her ears, and I bought a kit for cleaning it out from the vet. I think they have stuff premade at Petco, or Petsmart, in a squirt bottle. It could be ear mites biting him if there is blood.

Poor baby. An itchy ear is so bothersome. Mayby try putting a bit of neosporin on a q-tip, and put it on the bleedy spot.

FYI - my vet told me that dogs on Heartguard/Interceptor, etc. (HW preventative) wouldn't get ear mites because the HW preventative would kill the mites.
