I gave Marley a bully stick and was keeping an eye on him as I worked and he chewed.  Within a matter of minutes (5-10 min.) the bully stick was gone!  It usually takes him a half an hour to get almost done, at which time I "trade" the remaining bully stick for a nummy bone.  I suspect that he may have swallowed the bully because I can't find it anywhere.  Will he digest this or should I be worried?  Do I need to contact my vet?

Thanks,

Yukon

Mine have done this on occasion (like when they feel someone else is going to 'steal' the remaining piece) and we've had no issues. I'd just watch him for the next few days. They are digestible so it should break down in his system.

Thanks for the advice.  I will keep an eye on him to make sure everything is okay and that his bodily functions are working properly.
