Hi guys, I am concerned that I am giving Nora to much or to little excersice.  I read that they can get sedentary and gain wieght--god I sound like my mother!!

But she does have a lot of energy and it is fun to see her run around on the retractable leash... I keep reading about this luxating patella thing.  Would it hurt a yound dog to run around a bit?

All opinion welcome

Best

Melody

The breeder ive been talking to told me i shouldnt go running with my puppy, so i dont think youre suppost to do something like that, but im sure if youre just playing in the yard and the puppy is doing his puppy play then it is ok. other people on here im sure will know more about it, this is a great site!

I don't know that I would take a young puppy with you running.....but we certainly took our little Daisy to the green belt and let her "run" on her own.... Hope this helps..... These dogs have alot of energy so they love walks, playiing, etc....so burning off excess energy is a good thing.

They still have pretty soft bones, so don't wanna work them too hard.
