Does anyone know of a rabbit repellant you can sprinkle on the lawn to keep them away??  We have some that are pooping in our yard and of course it's like a gourmet dinner for our Oreo!  She was just diagnosed with Giardia which she may or may not have gotten from the rabbit poo.  Usually it comes from a bad water source, but our old dog had gotten it too, so it's probably the rabbit poo.  She was rescued from a puppy mill, so the vet thinks she got it there, but I wonder since our last dog had it once too.  The good news is, it answered my many questions regarding her diet and her pudding poo.

The garden stores sell a product that you can spray on flowers to keep rabbits and deer away. I can't recall the name. It's actually a coyotte urine. Rabbits really don't like it. Its worked keeping the rabbits and deer from eating my flowers. Spraying the whole yard might not be as effective but maybe the borders? The instructions also say to reapply after a rain. That may not be easy.

So it's all in the urine to keep them away, but it may be another thing for Oreo to sniff.

I was actually told that my husband could pee on my flowers and it would do the same thing.

So to keep the possums out of our yard I could just ask Bill to go pee on the perimeter?

How funny! I will let my hubby know...I'm sure my two boys would jump at the chance to pee outside!! What fun! Thanks for the advice...reapplying after rain though, egad, I'd be out there all the time right now!

Get a cat.  Our neighbor even borrows one of our cats to rid her property of rabbits.
