I know the answer to this is in here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.  I am starting to feed my old girl and the new pup veges for the first time.  They both love raw carrots as a treat.  And green beans added to their food.  What other veges are ok for them and how do I know what amount is too much?  Right now I am just starting out with a few a day as neither dog has ever been fed them before.

potatoes, cabbage, celery, spinach, and olive oil. Canned pumpkin is also good for your dog (regular canned pumpkin, not the pie filler) but I've heard it's mostly used as a filler. Actually, I think pumpkin is a fruit. I'm not sure about garlic...some people say it can repel fleas while others say it can poison your dog. I know onions are toxic to dogs, though.
