I just take my dog to the edge of the woods and he does his business there were we don't have to worry about stepping in it. I guess it could be handy if you don't live near the woods, but I don't use one and couldn't tell you how good it works. sorry.

i have read about them and wanted to get it until i realized that it wouldnt work for me... you need good dirt that will absorb the waste water... i have 12" top soil and then hard clay so it has no where to go. but its a great concept! i dont see why it wouldn ty be good.
