Some ratties are just very thin naturally and there's not much you can do to put weight on them. If the vet says she's healthy and she is active then I wouldn't worry about it. Just be sure the food you're feeding her is a quality food. JMO

Tinkerbelle was about 5-6 lbs at 3 months.  She is not a mini, but a small standard...meaning that as an adult she weighs 13 lbs. The smaller ratties, mini's or toys, weigh less than 10lbs as adults.

My Reni is very skinny. She is 9 mths old, and weighs about 6 lbs. She is very active also, and loves treats. I have been feeding her some canned food also, with Natural Balance dry.

Your vet can tell you how she looks. You should be able to feel but not see her ribs. Make sure she is getting a good quality puppy food while she is growing. She will be individual in what she should weigh now and you should be able to tell by looking at her.

I agree -- your vet can help you wtih this. Each dog is different. Bailey weighed 9 lbs at 6 months of age. He's a little over 2 years old now and weighed in Saturday at the vet's office at 9.5 lbs! With small breeds usually whatever they weigh at the age of 6 months... will be their adult weight, as they mature faster than larger breeds.

I like mine thin and muscular but not boney. Then again that's how I'd like to be too, but no one is fixing MY food for me!!
