will I have to worry about any of my dogs licking my husbands skin when he starts chemo therapy?????  i have these 2 little ones  that  I am especially worried about

I had chemo and I didn't worry about that. I would let them around any open wounds and certainly not lick them. The things you worry about are exposure to colds. flu, etc etc. My dog snuggled and was right with me while I went through chemo. It was my black Lab, Bonnie, and she was a puppy at the time.
