Sorry, I have been talking about my pups BMs a lot today. I am just concerned. This morning she had an accident by the door that was covered in a thick slimy orange mucus. Then tonight she had another accident that was covered in goo and runny. This is coming from a dog who never has accidents in the house anymore. I really don't know what to do. Should I take her to the vet tomorrow? I will be there with Tiger, and she is due for her shots next month. I just don't know what to do. She didn't even finish to yogurt I gave her. Piper had worms last time we went home, but I don't think I saw any in Lucy accidents tonight. Don't really know what to look for, but didn't see any of the long white kinds.

Maybe try feeding her rice and chicken...hope she feels better soon! Caesar had the same problem and I took him to the vet. he told me it was because of something he ate...the vet gave me 2 cans of special food that had rice and chicken in it...just to be safe, yes I would def. talk to the vet tomorrow. Keep us posted!

I would take her to the vet.  When I took Oscar to the vet when he was sick,  they said the stool sample they took from him was mucousy and that it was probably because his digestive tract was inflamed and to not feed for about 18 hours so his system could rest.  (he had eaten some chocolate) I've read that worms can also cause mucousy stools so it would be best to let them take a stool sample.  Meanwhile, I wouldn't feed her anything else tonight.  I hope she's all better soon.

That makes sense...don't feed anything tonight. I took Caesar to the vet the next day and that's when he gave me the cans of food for him... not that same day. I agree, let her tummy rest right now...

I had fed Oscar boiled chicken and oatmeal. At the vet the next morning they also gave me two cans of prescription i/d food, but told me not to let him eat until evening and then to feed a teaspoon every 2 or 3 hours for the first 24 hours.

Never need to apologize for that.  Since they can't tell us what's wrong,  one of the best ways to find out is to monitor their output.
