every now and then my mom gives her dogs cheese for a treat. i havent looked at everything on here but at what i have read i havent seen anything about cheese. is it ok to give your dog cheese for a treat? how about puppys?

Cheese is a fabulous treat for dogs! Just don't 'overdo' it---too much cheese will "plug up the works".  I buy mozzerella cheese for my dogs and cut it into small bite-sized pieces as treats, and to get their attention when I need them to look at me for a photo.  String cheese is good, too.  Both are low-fat and the dogs go NUTS for it.

OMGOSH!!! My Apollo LOVES cheese. If I even say cheese I get his attention like *that*. I just give mine american sandwich cheese. I only give them cheese once or twice a week... like Paul said, just don't over do it.
