Well, Paul gave me the recipe for a borax solution to help with the itching. It has worked wonders, I let Nibbler seep in it for a while every night for the past couple of nights. He isn't biting or itching at the bumps anymore. However, they haven't gone away. I took him to the vet... again (she's so nice, she doesn't charge us for the visit unless she does some sort of test or shot or something since she knows we don't have the money) and she says she doesn't have any clue what it is. She did some sort of test on the bump, but we won't know till Friday or Monday what it shows. Nibbler was supposed to be neutered on Monday, but Nibbler is getting out of it once more until we can figure out what's going on.

Paul has been so kind and concerned Thank You Thank You!!!

Glad he isn't itching so much! It's very frustrating, isn't it? Trying to find out what this is. Mayfly gets hives but they aren't bumps, they're just red circles. Luckily they aren't itchy.

I'm so glad that his itching and scratching has stopped! Like I told you, Bonita, Dar had the same thing and it got so bad with her scratching and biting on one certain spot in her left hip, it scared the spit out of me because she constantly had a raw, bleeding place there, and would scratch SO much she couldnt even sleep at night---and she kept me awake by scratching, too. My vet said it was "allergies" and we went with the cortizone shots, and antibiotics because of the deep lesions she kept inflicting herself with, and it just never did totally go away.  He said it was not any type of mange (I had some concerns about that) and it didnt really spread---but she itched herself constantly for 4 months and it was driving us both crazy!  The borax bath stopped her from itching, and she is healing up very nicely on that spot that was bald and raw for so long.

YAY NIBBLER!  You're gonna be all right, dude!

We haven't had him tested for allergies yet. We will wait until after the holidays so we can afford it unless he gets really bad.
