What do you know about or have heard about Dingo mini Rawhides with meat in the middle? Aka was given some of these when I first got him and he adored them. They are made in China so I am leery of getting anymore. Does anyone know of a similar product made in the US? Thanks for all answers!!

Cheryl...this is just my opinion of course, but I personally wouldn't feed or treat with anything coming out of China anymore. I think it's just too risky. There are lots of options of treats and chews made in the U.S. Have you tried the bully sticks that Nora initially turned us all on to? Daisy LOVES these things and she was never a big fan of "bone" type chews before I got the bully stick. Most pet stores carry them. Mine (Pet Supplies Plus) has the ones made by Merrick.

Hi Tracey, I completely agree with you about the Chinese made products. Aka likes bully sticks and beef tendons and I get those for him. Thanks for your reply. I have always been a label reader but now I'm almost manic about it. And it is amazing how many things are not US made when it comes to pets!! Thanks!

I have to say I was very involved in the recall and what was safe and not but I gave Fred Dingo's the whole way through. I give him the meat in the middle and now that we have Alice she gets em too. I give each of them one a night, usually while we eat dinner so they don't sit and stare at us! I really really like DIngo brand. I have given bully sticks too but UGH they just smell so bogus!!

Charlie loves the dingo bones. They are kind of messy though... The meat stuff always gets everywhere. So I started to get him steer sticks, the small version of a bully stick and he loves those too. It suck though cuz those dingo bones are way cheap!
