| It ain't cheap. The online price in NJ is $11.49 for a 5.5 pound bag(on sale), not including shipping.
I see they've added NJ and list online stores now, so hopefully it'll be more widely available soon. |

Can one of you tell me how big the kibble is? I'm thinking about ordering a bag of the Orijen for Bella, but she seems to like the smaller kibble better. I've been feeding Solid Gold Barking at the Moon, but the kibble is really big. I'd like to buy something smaller next. Thanks. |

If I remember correctly, it's pretty big. It's been a while since I've fed it so I could be wrong, but I think it was one of the largest I've seen.

I don't know about the regular Orijen, but the Senior formula is not too big, it's smaller than the Innova we were feeding but bigger than Canidae. Of course they may make the senior formula smaller so that it can be swallowed easier for dogs that may be missing teeth? But his allergies are back, I can't imagine what he could be allergic to in the Orijen, I think he may be allergic to bully sticks which he's been getting a lot of lately (finally found something he'll chew on, yay!) |

You might try the Orijen puppy food also. They're probably smaller and the protein/fat levels are about the same. |

Yeah, I really like the ingredients of Orijen. I like how there aren't alot of ingredients and they are all meats and vegetables. Is the kibble flat or like balls? |

The senior at least is more like balls. I don't know if you wet your food down at all but it crumbles faster than any other food we've tried so far and almost makes a gravy. Yogi really likes it (this isn't saying much, that dog will eat ANYTHING). |

I prefer grain free foods. I just try to avoid any of the foods that have by products and other ingredients that aren't good in them. You just have to do a little research and read the ingredients. The first ingredient listed is what the majority of the food is made with...so it's best if the first ingredient is a meat. The cheaper foods use corn and grain products more than anything else.
Pro Pac isn't a horrible food but it does use alot of rice in its product. I'm not a fan of Iams....they use alot of corn and also animal by products...even in their "natural" dog food. |

We've got the Orijen adult here and I don't think the kibble is big at all. It's a bit smaller than Canidae All Life. I pay something like $40 for a 20lb bag, I think. Rowdy loves Orijen. I mix it with Canidae so I can feed him and Sam the same diet, but if it were just him, we'd feed Orijen.

| Thanks Chrys....I guess I can just get a small bag and see how she likes it. She isn't very picky, but just doesn't seem to be eating this bigger kibble like she did the smaller. |

| Hey Morgan I was wrong, it's more like little discs, not round, kinda like Canidae. |
