So Sorry that Jax has been through so much! Bless his heart! Amos is a Parvo survivor. I was advised to use Parvaid to help his tummy settle and allow him to accept foods better. When the vet sent us home, he told us that if we could get him to eat, he'd live, if we didn't get him to eat he'd die! The Parvaid helped him tremendously, but the vet had never heard of it. I started it the day he came home from the vet. He stopped throwing up and then his stools started firming up. I'll try and find the link for you. I had to have it shipped in to me, but you may be in an area where you can buy it.
Glad to hear he sounds to be on the mend.

He's doing so much better now though we had to have all sorts of different tests done at the vet again. He has a little colitis now because the 2nd vet we had didnt prescribe a long enough dose of antibiotics but he's doing really good again. He cant stop cleaning his bowl 4 times a day thank god! When he came home after having parvo he had an amazing appetite and he has it again maybe its the meds but i'm happy about it. Hopefully this is the end of us living at the vet, though i'm sure they dont mind. My dog is known all over that vets office! They happen to be entertained by us often. I really have a problem with keeping enough toys in the house. He somehow found his way on top of a tall dresser the other day and ingested a few uhh.....contraceptives (sorry). But i just cant seem to keep the house Jax proof... there is nothing he cant get to! We now stack babygates to keep him out of rooms. Is this puppy phase or is this total rattie? He's a pain in the pottymouth but i love him more than anything... Just wish i could keep all forms of plastic out of his mouth.

I'm so glad Jax is getting better! Parvo is scary, the germs can stay around for years, so I hope you'll disinfect and everything "anally" as you said, so that if you (or the next residents of your home) get a new dog they won't catch it from Jax.

But a big hug to Jax for making it through that! I'm so glad he's okay!
