Hi group.
I don't want to offend anyone, but I would like the support of all here. For those that light candles, please do, for those that pray - please do. For those that send the white light and energy, please do. I just received an email from my oldest son about his baby. After 5 years of trying to conceive thy had to go through IVF to have a baby. They are expecting twins in late October. They went to the doctor this morning and was told that she is going to have to go on total and complete bedrest due to the boy being 12% of his growth rate while the girl is at 33%. She is also experiencing swelling in her legs and feet. They are going to watch her closely for 2 weeks and she may be admitted to be given steriods. I am so far away and can't be there to help. I am in tears cause my son and his wife are the perfect people to be parents. They are awesome and did all this the absolute right way. They really can't afford for her to be off work and he just got a new job which will start on Monday. I know this is long, but I am at work and I can't go home and just get in bed with my rattie and cry because my heart is breaking for them. So I am asking for your support and thanks for letting me "talk" with you all.

Oh, I'm so very sorry this is happening. I have been in your shoes, with our son and his wife. I know what you are going through. I will most definitely keep you in my prayers. At least they have caught the problelm - with my d-i-l they didn't until it was too late. She only delivered one of her twins - our precious grandson Gray. So, take heart that they are on top of the problem and we will all be thinking of you. Somehow, you all will get through this rough time. May God send strength your way. |

Thanks, I love you guys. I get weekly pictures of her belly as it grows. Now I won't cause she has to have total bed rest. I'm gonna look and see if I can get really, really cheap tickets to fly down for an extended weekend to visit before the babies are expected to come. Thanks again for your support. Barbara |

| I will send good thoughts their way. So they are around 30ish weeks?? The outcome for that is very good. Sounds like they may have some issues with growth(twin-twin maybe?) but usually they will watch that and get them out sooner than later if is really looking "off". They would be in an ICU for awhile but it is amazing what they can do nowadays. I work in a level 4 Neonatal ICU so if you have an questions or if I can be of any help please feel free to PM me. |

Gosh Barbara~ My thoughts and prayers will be with your family during this difficult time. I totally understand what you are going through right now. My sister just had her baby about two weeks ago but had many complications. Nothing quite as bad but were still worried that we could loose one of them. Everything thankfully came out just fine. I'm sure the same will happen for you!! I will be thinking about them alot. Please keep us updated as you can. |

Thanks Sarah. I really appreciate those words of comfort. I may just take you up on your offer. The baby girl, who they are naming Faith is at 33% of her growth, but Wisdom the boy is at 12%. They say he may be oxygen deprived. She is on total bed rest for 2 weeks then if it doesn't improve they are going to give the little boy steriods to aide him if they have to take the babies early. I know all this is going to work out just fine, but hearing about it is scary. More so for them as this is their first and they have been waiting and wanting to have a baby for so long and all they had to do to get to where they are now. I know you can all tell I'm a nervous wreck... but I'll be fine.. I have to be for them. You guys are so wonderful to let me go on about this.... I really do appreciate being a part of this wonderful group. |
