I'm looking into getting a rat-terrier mix thats available locally.  What its mixed with, I don't know.  Anyways, I was wondering if due to their rat hunting prowess if they have an innate drive to go after small furry hoppy things.  I've got 2 buns who live mostly in their bunny condo but enjoy some romping time.  The pup I'm interested in getting is still young; how hard of an obstacle would it be to overcome to get these 2 species to live in harmony.  Thanks!

Just intoduce them. I have two ratties, two rabbits and a cat. Soon getting another rattie. Just gotta watch them till they seem to be getting along, and then watch them after that too.

Well, I don't have rabbits but I can you tell if I got one I'd never let it loose around my dogs. They are rodent hunters! And my whippet was bred to hunt rabbits. Maybe if you raise a puppy with the rabbits...but like Donna said - watch them and never leave them alone!
