we are currently working on what we call "speed tricks!" Its his best tricks, in different order each time, really fast He's getting pretty good at it. It's pretty much.... sit, down, up, gimme 5, down, up, sit, sit up, gimme 5, roll over, sit, gimme 5 and then treat |

Liberty and Justice taught themselves to hide when I say the "V" word! hehehe But I personally taught them to do a high 5 and when I say shake with your left they give me their left paw and then the same with the right. But that's all besides the normal sit, down and stay. Ratties sure are smart if you repeat what you want them to do a few times and give them a treat! |

Besides the basics (sit, down, etc.) Dottie can shake your hand, roll over, roll over and show you her belly, and she does an awesome jumping spin! She is such a smart girl! |

Caesar is sooo smart!! He knows sit, shake, bow, speak, play dead, lay down, turn around(little circles in front of you), circle me(a big circle all around me) and dance (on his back 2 legs). He learned them so fast~~ Julia( we've had her for almost 4 months) only knows sit and lay down so far. Still working with her. |

Both Sydney and Sonic know: sit, lay down, and roll over. Sydney knows how to twirl in the air like a ballerina and gives high fives. Sonic knows how to wave bye-bye on command. We are working on both of them to learn how to army rawl (on their bellies) for when Jordan comes home from the Academy. |

Is that like when they crawl on their bellies? Because we just started trying to teach that to Mic! We tell him to lay down, then put a treat right in front of his nose and tell he to come here, then keep moving the treat back slowing. So far he moves his head forward, but as soon as its time for him to crawl he stands up and walk over! Let me know what you try and how it works out!!

Thats how we are trying to get them to do it also. Is there another way? Sydney lays down then gets up and walks. Sonic will put his front legs down but has his butt in the air. |
