Ok, by now everyone knows I went to San Diego with Jim last weekend for a mini-vacation.  I took Shadow to the babysitter on Thursday night and picked him up Monday afternoon.  When I picked him up he was not so happy with me for leaving him, but he was very well taken care of and he enjoyed being with his parents so I was told.  However when we got home he was very shy or pissed at me for leaving him.  NOW last night he was ALL over me... taking his paws and rubbing my face and all wanting to play.  I wanted to sleep after about 2 hours of this.  So I put him in his crate and he settled down.  Then at 5:00 AM he wants to go potty.  I take him out and he immediately does both his business and beats me back to my bed, gets under the covers and wouldn't move.  So we both went to sleep until the alarm went off.  I can't tell you how many times I hit the snooze button and he wouldn't move at all.  I guess he missed me after all.  But his grabing my hands with his paws is something new that he has learned.  He is too adorable.

He had to pout a little bit to make you feel guilty for leaving him. Looks like all is forgiven and he loves you again.

Yeah I guess he has... I talked about him to my uncle while I was gone and even Jim and I talked about him. I couldn't wait to ge get him and he treated me with the cold shoulder. But now he is back to his old self. Very playful and very energetic. I forgive him too.

That's the nice thing about dogs - they don't hold a grudge!

I'm glad they don't hold grudges. I'm a dog personality too. Cats tend to be too individual and I'm not like that so thats why I have always had dogs. This is the first rattie I've had...and when I do get my own place and not renting, I'm getting more. They are so adorable and such personality too. The looks he gets when he is playing it too funny. I'm glad he missed me cause I missed him too. However, I am planning on another trip to San Diego.... Also a cruise for next year.
