Just a summary of this thread:

If you want to submit your own banner, you can send them to one of the moderators or rt-morgan@hotmail.com and just have 'banner' somewhere in the subject line.  Banners need to be 990 pixels wide and 275 pixels high.  Banners should say "Rat-Terrier.com" somewhere on it.  Banners should be made from real photographs, with photoshopping kept to a bare minimum.  Sometimes banners will be created from photo contest winners.

If I want to make and submit a banner here do I just copy photos from this site or do folks send photos just for this purpose?? how does that work?  I dont' want to just start copying photos if I am not supposed to.

Can we include pics of our own pups on the banner too?

You can do whatever works better for the kind of banner that you want to make.  Sometimes people just use pictures that members have posted or if they want a particular type of picture they will start a new post asking that people email them pictures of what they are looking for.  If you want a banner of panting ratties...then it would probably just be easier for you to ask people to email you those pictures.  And OF COURSE you include your own rattie, haha.  You can actually make banners that ONLY have your rattie in them!  We just have people who are nice enough to include other ratties if they can.
