I'm so worried about her.  I've never left her before and she (like Apollo) is an extension of my you know what.  She won't even go outside to the bathroom with my hubby...she will come back and wait for me!

I'm going to try to have positive thoughts.  It looks really nice and she will have fun playing with other doggies at the camp.  I just don't know how she'll sleep.  They told me to bring her favorite blankey and I said "well that's the queen size quilt on my bed!"

Anyway, I'm going to have to get over this sadness.  It's my 40th B-day and my husband has the night planned for us in a fancy hotel in downtown Atlanta and they don't allow doggies!  It's just one night, so I know she'll live.  Please pray for me to have fun and not worry and for Tinkerbelle to do well.  Thanks!

P.S. I even forgot to enter her in the Yankee Doodle contest and she has the dress!!!  I can't find my camera this morning and I'm beside myself.  Oh well, she ate through part of her dress and I would have to sew it up.  That little rat!

I can sympathize!!!  I just had to leave my babies for 6 days.  My husband was here, but he works such strange shifts, so I hired a pet sitter to stop by twice a day.  All I could do was think about their sweet faces.  She'll be fine, those pet hotels are great!

You actually reserved a room that doesn't allow DOGGIES??????????? (I didn't know there was such a thing! LOL)
Seriously... put your mind at rest and have a good time. Check in when you get back and tell us how wonderfully Tinkerbelle did !

I know how hard it was for me to have Julia gone for 1 night...all I can say is that I hope it goes by fast for you~ hope you can enjoy your birthday!! She'll be just fine I'm sure. I checked out the Petsmart PetsHotel in Omaha and it did look really nice and when I go out of town that's where my 2 doggies are staying. It seemed like the best place in town(besides HOME)...Enjoy your night!!!

My baby made it and she seems to be just fine.  When I went to pick her up, she was behind a glass wall at Doggie Day Camp.  She wouldn't even look at me because she was so busy humping a Bichon Frise.  They were all girls and Tinkerbelle was the only little humper out of about 25 doggies playing together.  I think she liked that fuzzy little tail!  I had to go tell them I was her owner and they all just kind of laughed.  They said she did great, but they probably say that to everyone, but like I said she was happy when I was watching from the outside.  I'm just glad to have her home and she seems happy to be here!  Thanks for your support!

I'm glad she did fine. I was the same way as you when I left Bailey for 3 days. I was worried about the trip for 2 months and considered not going. Ended up my sister and her daughters needed a place to stay for a few nights while waiting on their new place to be ready, so they stayed here at my home with Bailey. So I got to enjoy my trip. That was funny about her favorite blanket cause Bailey's would have been my queen size comforter.

The first time I left Bama was SO hard, and he was staying with our daughter, so I KNEW he'd be well taken care of. I called her not long after we left to check on him, and he was fine. I called again before I went to bed, and he was fine. I called first thing the next morning, and he was fine. I think after that call, I realized he was fine and that I didn't have to call so much. He plays with their dogs and has a blast! Now, when we take him over there, about a mile from their house, he starts whining and shaking from excitement. He can't wait to get there and play with his "nieces" and "nephews."
