Wasn't sure where to post this...

When I first brought Mya home in May of last year I noticed spots starting to show up around as the months becam warmer...then noticed they disappeared close to winter and then re-appeared this spring...is this common with the Rat Terrier breed?

If you're talking ticking - yes it can seem darker in the summer (shedding fur) and lighter in the winter (heavier coat). My Snoopy's ticking comes and goes... it's odd, but it does happen. It's nothing to worry about........

Welcome to you and little Mya! My Button says welcome to a fellow rattie with one ear up and one down! She can really relate. Mya is a little doll! My girl's ticking stays the same year-round. But I've heard other members say they can fade seasonally to some degree.

Molly's ticking completely disappeared during the winter, now they back darker than ever. I'm finding new spots every day.
