Hello,
I adopted a puppy named Mia 3 months ago. I have been told she looks like a rat terrier or maybe rat terrier/jack russell mix. Can anyone tell me if you think she is a rat terrier. She has the button ears that I know rat terriers can have and her body is similar to a standard size rattie. Any advise would help.

Hello and Welcome!
She deffinately looks like she has some rattie in her! But she also doesn't look true rattie, and I have no idea what the other breed might be, though...maybe fox terrier? |

| I was just about to post the exact same thing! Amos is a rat terrier mix. I love him to pieces! How big is Mia? She certainly could be Amos' sister, but he's already over 1 year old. |

| She could be Decker, they have a little different look to them. They are larger of course, but the head is a little different on a Decker too. Deckers are Ratties too. |

haha i saw the ticking with how she looks and i thought she was part rattie. i saw a dog with its owner while i was in the car and i had to look at it till i couldnt anymore and i just kept saying that has to be a rat terrier lol they are just so darn cute!

| If you look at her snout it looks a lot like a Jack Russell, but the rest of her looks like rattie. I would say JRT/RT mix. |

she doesn't look like a decker at all to me...but a rattie mix. not sure what she's mixed with, but the face/head shape is not quite rattie...maybe part JRT?

| Welcome! I agree with everyone, She does remind me of Amos and with that boxy, large muzzle, she is likely a rattie mix. Hard to tell what the other half is, though. She's cute, whatever she is! you'll love this site. Lots osf great people and great advice. Stick around! |

Hello, I asked this question in a different forum. Like to ask it here in the correct one. Is my dog a rattie?
We were told Holly was Fox Terrier and JRT. My vet couldnt confirm that. And everyone I meet on the street
says something different. Please help me |
