Ok, new here and I don't quite understand how to tell if someone replied to your message, other than watching the windows to the left. If I sign off, how do I know someone responded? |

The onl way I have ever known is to check the message on the "Just chat" board and it will tell you how many replies and how many have looked at your post. Unless you are talking private messages..........

When I come back on rt.com, I always just hit the "not read" to see what all I've missed. Any new comments I haven't read will show up there. Then I just check the forums that I've started on threads on to see if anyone has replied to my topics. Hope this helps.  |

| Thanks. I didn't mean private messages. I was just thinking if I posted something and then signed off, how could I go back to see if anyone answered. I guess I would have to go back into the forum and look under the thread I started huh? That makes sense....did I answer my own question? Hehe. This is sort of confusing since I''m new. It's taking me a long time to figure stuff out. I couldn't get an avatar (nor did I know what that was...) for a long time either. Got it now though... |

oh and when you are logged in and check "my forums" and when it comes up bold, it means someone has posted something in that thread that you haven't read... does that make any sense?
When it is not bolded , you have read the latest posts in that thread....
