Hi all my name is Danette aka Maxamillion's Mommy. I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself and my baby to the forum. We live in northern California in the San Francisco Bay area. It is myself, my husband, our 2 children ages 7 and 2 1/2. Then our fur babies which include 2 cats karma and no name aka mama, 1 kitten named uno cuz she was the only one in no names litter, and our newest addition and reason im here in the forum Maxamillion aka Max a 6 month old rat terrier. This is the first time that i have ever owned something so little but he is quite the enjoyment. My oldest cat (4)Karma doesn't too much care for him but we are taking it one day at a time with the introduction process. Mama doesn't seem to mind him and has even came close enough to sniff him face to face and no signs of aggression there. Lil uno hasn't a clue as to what the hell he is and goes in fear mode instantly. But none the less it is all working out. I am hoping by being here i can share my knowledge of things i know on puppies and dogs and then i can also learn some new things along the way to help me with Max. He is a joy already potty trained, low maintenance, virtually no bark. Loves to cuddle and be in the bed with me and my husband. The outside noises are a little scary to him like cars and things on wheels but other dogs no issue with and he doesn't chase my cats. So hope to talk to you guys here and get some ideas on what to do with him on some of his lil issues. Thanks again ~Max's Mommy Oh yeah here is a pic of the lil king!

| Welcome to the forum Danette! You'll find some great information here concerning the breed... and some nonsense from time to time also! Feel free to jump right in and act crazy with us... offer suggestions... and feel free to share pictures and whatever else you feel like sharing! We're glad you are here, and....Max is adorable. He looks like a type B (short legs)... right? There are several here that own the Type B ratties. |
