Hey guys...
I breezed through some of the posts this morning and noticed some of you were having problems.
I just got back from the Doctor and picking up my medicine. The Doc. thinks I may have strep throat. The test was negative but one of my kids went home yesterday and several in his class went home with strep. The doctor said even though the test was negative, he thinks I may still have it. Anyways, I feel yucky and am going to go lay down because I took the rest of the day off.
I thought it would be easier for everyone to tell me if they are having any problems here then for me to try and get through all the forums before I lay down.
The site looks different because Lance upgraded to a newer version of our forums, so thats why things look a little different. Thats also why the "top posts" boxes over to the left were gone last night and this morning....he had to email the guy that made the upgrade to let him know but they are back, so thats good.
Any other problems?

| Morgan, first of all I hope you feel better. Second, it's ok you don't have to do everthing at once! But when you can... sometimes I can't post on the "quick reply" and sometimes can't post on the "add reply". I either get a blank screen or a error page. Sometimes the smillies don't work. And sometimes I can't quote people... only the quote comes up in my reply. It's like there's no ryme or reason. Just luck of the draw w/ each post. Thanks! |

| ACK! See...I just used Quick Reply and got nothing!!!! I don't get an error or anything ... just pulls up the thread I was trying to post to, and my reply is not there, but someone else's is..in this case, Lance's post....???? |

ooh, I think I remember seeing that before with the old site. I think the danger of the quick reply is if two people do it at the same time and there is a conflict.  |

Which color? You mean the grey text of the messages themselves? Yes, I will change that to black - but its a little more complicated so you'll have to bear with it for a while... sorry. |

| I use the quick reply all the time... and several times this morning when I've attempted to use it... nothing happens. So I click on it again.. nothing happens... sometimes after clicking several times, it finally "takes". |

Ok, don't know if its my pc or not but never had this happen before. When I post in quick reply then hit submit, nothing happens. So I hit submit again. Nothing, what I wrote is still there, just didn't submit. Finally after worrying about double or triple posting, I hit submit again. Now it worked
Not a big issue, just thought I would let you know. Happened about 4 times now for my last 4 posts.
And Morgan!! Feel better!!! We need you!!! |

Problems, problems  thinks could be worse! The Internet, Computers, Sloppy Software, Viruses , Late for work again , Forgot to take out the dog last night  and let's not forget Microsoft's Windows Vista  I know that Vista is not related to this forum but being a computer tech person, you would be surprized by all the complaints. It would be interesting to include what OS your running along with a problem!
I'm staying with XP until all the bugs are ironed out ........ Just Reboot!!!!!
