Mom is 9lbs, dad is 12lbs, but he is half the size of brother and sisters at 5  weeks of age, so he will be pretty tiny, maybe 6-7 lbs. How exactly do you determine how big they will get, except from parents? Thanks

No clue. But when I got Cyrus they told me he should be between 13-15 pounds. He now weighs 20. He's a solid boy!

He's a cute little guy! Unusual, but gorgeous, coloring for a rattie. I don't know how to judge size...my ratties mom was 22 lbs and the dad was 28 lbs and the girls are 30 lbs. You can never really tell. I thought for sure Lucy (lemon/white rattie) wouldn't get any bigger than the mom, but she's the same size as her sister, just less muscular.

Welcome!

I don't think you can ever really tell, but that baby is adorable. CoCo's parents were 5lbs and 7lbs and CoCo is 10lbs, so she got a little bigger, but she is the largest of her litter. The other pups range from about 7lbs and a little more. If she is the tiniest of the litter, she may sway more towards her mom's size. Either way she is one cute pup.

Um...NO!   I have 2 short leggeds and have been around many more...no big feet.  They are just like long-legged except their legs are shorter and some of them are stockier but NO big feet.

Geez, you can tell their feet aren't big just by looking at pics of the type B's on the site.

Jack was 5lbs though at 6weeks, so by that calculation he should be at least 20llbs! He is 13. I think it is a hard one to say. Jacks parents were 10 and 12lbs...he is 13. Jeters were 12 and 14lbs.... he is about 9lbs at 6 months. It is a guessing game that I think you can't really win, lol. You can get big pups from little parents and little pups from big parents....depends on the genes they got.

Ratty's mom was 5-6 lbs and his dad was 8-9 lbs, Ratty weighs 17 lbs. Cameo at 14 wks weighs 8lbs her estimated weight at full growth is 10-13 lbs. I don't think you really know until they are grown.
