Scamper has started digging in the corners of our living room carpet.  He has never done this before.  He is two years old, and now he is doing this.  Nothing had changed in our house.  It is cooler here now,  the only thing I can think is that he is hearing something.  We have had the carpets cleaned hoping it was a scent thing.  That hasn't helped.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  My husband is getting very cranky.

I don't have an answer other than maybe spraying bitter apple on the area, shaking a can with pennies or spraying him with a water bottle when he does that. Does he do this in front of you or when you're gone? If it's when you're gone then maybe crate him.

You might want to repost this in the Training Forum so more people will see it.
