I must be a dummy, but I can't figure this out! I browsed and found my pic for the avatar, updated profile..but nothing. Then for photos, I don't know where to go/what to use to resize them (I am guessing they are too large and that's why they won't post). I've been on lots of message boards where I can post pics, but for some reason, I can't figure it out here. Gah!

When you uploaded your avatar didyou make sure the extension was a lowercase .jpg? It won't accept uppercase.

Yay! Thanks! That's what the problem was. Maybe that's why my photos wouldn't post either...? Thanks again!

As Sarah said the avatar pic MUST be in lower case jpg format. Size for avatar pictures is irrelevant as it resizes them automatically.

For creating a thread with pictures:

Go to the Photos:Ratties forum and click on Add New Topic. Once at the new screen, type in a subject line and something in the main message body window. Underneath you will see three file upload boxes where you can browse to the photo file's location on your computer. These pics must be in jpg format as well and they must be less than 125 kb in size. (To check this, right click on the file you're planning to upload and click on properties - that should tell you both the file format and the size).

If you still are having problems, let me know

Yay!! You don't have to do that in the photo sections. You do have to have to resize them usually though. I use the sketch/skew option in MS Paint.

I used Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 to create a flip book of the 12 photos I picked for my Daisy Calendar

Hmmm. Food for thought. I'll have to do some research.
