| Shiloh's accident was sunday afternoon (2pm). Had an all day visit with the vet monday, lidocaine, washing of burns and scrapes and 8-10 stitches after a dead tissue removal where the worst burn was. She slept in my lap all day yesterday and had to be carried outside to pee. Today shes using a step stool to get off the bed (with my help and encouragement), on a lead to go potty but doing pretty well all considered. Walking all spraddle legged but at a good clip! |

Thanks JenMax!  Just looked at your profile. Max is so cute in that sweater. Shiloh sure appreciates her sweaters in winter. She'd rather be in our bed under the covers though, smiles... |

| I just read your whole story. I'm so glad Shiloh is getting better! I did have to laugh at the boy who's having a very hard week! Poor kid! Welcome to the site ( I apologize for not doing so earlier...I have time to read a few, then I have to go...kids!!) Keep us updated on Shiloh...he's beautiful! |

Thanks so much. It is good news that she seems to feel better. She's freaked out though. My husband runs his own computer service out of the home. Working from home causes the phone to ring alot. Shiloh usually doesn't mind but a few minutes ago she was laying on the bed next to hubby and his phone rang. I had snuck off to do laundry. She startled so bad she flew off the bed and darted into the laundry room to sit on my feet and tremble. Guess laundry and everything else has to wait. She needs her mommy. Poor kiddo.
I've loved looking at all the wonderful pics and reading about everyone's ratties. Thanks so much for all the support. So happy Shiloh and I found you all! |
