Miles other mommy just called and said we may not get him today. He's throwing up and got loose stools. He goes to the vet @ 3:30. She said she did find a small bead in his stools. And that this am his stools were almost back to normal.

Does it sound like he could of had a blockage?? Maybe he does?? I just want my baby home!

I'm throughly going through this house to make surenothing is down where he can get into it.
He was here in Sunday. Could he have gotten it here and just now take this long to go through his system??

Poor guy...hopefully, it's nothing! These guys seem to get into the darndest things and upset their tummies rather quickly. Speaking of which, you may also want to keep on hand some tummy-settlers like plain yogurt, canned pumpkin (not pie mix), etc...

Thanks!! I'm just freaking out. Feels like one of my kids is sick! Guess I'm really now owned by a puppy!

Do I still tell as long as the vet says everything is ok that we'll still take him home?? I just want to baby and love him.

It's probably nothing but good he's going to the vet. Like Tracey said - plain yogurt and canned pumpkin - I just had to give Skipper some yogurt last week. Stopped his diarrhea right away. He was just adjusting to a new diet....sometimes it doesn't take much to make them poo/puke!

Are you going to the vet with him? If it's the breeder taking him then you might want to take him to YOUR vet out of an "abundance of caution". It's probably fine but you do want to rule out parvo, etc. Also, if it's not something he ate and it's contagious then his sister will probably get it, too.

No. She's gonna bring him. I have to get my niece. But it'll be the same vet he'll continue to go through.

Yup. I get to pick them up @ 3:10.   Bad thing is we're already picking out girl names.
