Izzy's real name is Izabelle. We have a few extra names for her. Just wondering if we are weird or do alot of people do this? She responds to most of them as well. They are Izzy, Izaboo, Boo, Boo Boo, Lizzy (my 86 yr old great aunt thinks thats her real name, its funny) Boobola, lil boo, pup, and last but not least Izabella booboolini. What are your dogs extra names? |

My hubby and I call Liberty: Dooey, Libby, Libby Lu, Lu Lu Bell and my family and friends call her Libby Lu.
My hubby and I call Justice: Tookie, Justy Busty, Justy, Little Man and Ears Ma honey. My family calls him Ears Ma honey.
They come to all of these names, but if we call Libby Lu and Justy Busty they start jumping all around to go for a walk. It's too funny!  My neighbors heard us calling their "walking" names and they were like I thought their names were Liberty and Justice. And we were just like Yep we're dorks!  |

| Oreo has a few nicknames too. Oreo cookie, cookie, cookie monster,M.C., Pumpkin is Pumpkin pie or Pie Pie, or Wo Wo,our friends and family know our dogs are like our children, so they just smile or shake their heads. |

Button answers to Buttoni and we refer to her as The B-Dog when we don't want her to hear her name being mentioned.
Zipper answers to Zipper only and we refer to her as The Z-Dog when we don't want her to hear we're talking about her. We call her Wiggle Butt when she's greeting people, because she wags her whole body, not just her tail, but she wouldn't answer to it, I don't think. |

Yes I do, I call my toy rat terrier named Lil Jack....Get this, "Poppy Boy" which is very weird. I don't know, it just came out when he was a baby! Anyhow, it stuck and he answers to it too!

Scott: To add a pic as your avatar which will appear under your user name each time you post...go to My Profile, Edit Profile and there is a place to browse to and upload a picture file for that purpose.
If you would like to just add some general pics for us to see (and please do) then go to the Photos: Ratties forum and start a new thread. Type something in the subject line and in the messsage window. Underneath those are three upload boxes for browsing to and uploading picture files for us to see. These files must be resized to be under 125kb and must end in .jpg (lower case). |

| Simon doesn't have a nickname, but I will call Maggie Magot if she is being stinky, Choklit is the Monster dog and Berry is Berrybooper. All of them hide when I yell what BAD DOG did this? Nobody wants that name. Ceecee only answers if my youngest daughter calls her, Mysty will come if you call any of the others, she always thinks that they are getting something that she isn't. Ginger the border collie comes to Gingy, gingerbinger, Geegee and honey dog. Taffey only comes to Taffey, she just looks at you as if you are stupid if you try something different. |

i've always had nicknames for my pets i think...we call jackson a variety of names and have to spell his name (and the cat's so jackson doesn't get jealous) when we don't want him to know we're talking about him. we call him monkey, nasty ("it's jackson if you're nasty" and he is nasty because he gets into anything smelly or gross) noodle, doo-doo, stinky boy (the frito effect as someone coined it on this site, lol), and a variety of other little names here and there. i like to play with his name like...cracker jack, jack in the box, jackolantern...you get the idea |

| we've been calling Madden 'Batman' for the past few weeks for some reason haha.. then we got a cat a couple days ago and his name was Batman until we came up with Joey (my roommate's favorite guy from Friends).. and now we call joey 'saddlebags' (has anybody seen that subway commercial where the couple goes into a fast food place and orders saddlebags?? haha) because he eats a lot. the thing fits in my palm and he won't stop eating! i dont know where it all goes. my mom also calls madden 'pookie doggie'. |
