For ya'll who dont recognize her.... mange is on the left - is she not amazing... she looks WONDERFUL.... email below is from her owners nicole and.... mmmm cant remember the other name... sorry.

Sorry i haven't written. We are in Vallejo, California, and are still trying to buy a house! Anyways i meant to sent this to you when i got it. My sister and mom invented this product for dogs and when i drove through Santa Fe, NM she took pictures of Maco and Mange, and well i guess the are huge success in Japan. They are now international dog models here is the link of a Japaneses publication that featured my sister product. Do you recognize mange. She is doing great and has become the dominate dog in the relationship with Maco VERY INTERESTING! Ciao Nicole

Robin - can I just tell you, once again, that everytime I see pics of Cali (Mange LOL) that I tear up. Seriously, every time. I just cannot believe that this poor misused and forgotten pup on death row (for those that don't know the story-that is Cali in Talleysmom's avatar in the top center behind the bars) has turned into one of the greatest rescue stories ever!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the update. I think of Cali often. She is and should be an inspiration to all of us regarding the plights of ratties abandoned by uncaring people. Bless you again for all that you have done and continue to do!!!! |

| I love th pic of the rooster wearing one - haha... yes she looks great.... I guess she has not had a relapse or i'm sure nicole would have mentioned it... she is a really beautiful rattie :-( i'm so glad she got a wonderful home.... I am soooo ready to foster again... trying to talk hubby into it.. there are several ratties (one that looks like my wee man) in the ft. worth shelter i would love to pull.... hopefully one day soon.... |

| No but i should.... to both vets that said to put her down.... however i definately need to send one to Dr. Holt... the only vet that really gave me hope and agree'd to let me go with ivermectin and not the PAINFUL harsh dips they make dogs with demodex endure. Anyway, I just wanted to share with ya'll..... i dont hear from them a whole lot so when i do its special - and ya'll are just as much a part of her being where she is today as i am.... |

| OMG they have one on a TOAD.. that is toooo funny. I'm just glad to see she look so HEALHTY. I had no previous experience with demodex mange and was scared to death this dog would never be comfortable or healthy.... i even questioned myself as to if i was actually helping her or prolonging her pain during different stages of her recovery.... so i'm extremely pleased to see that she looks so good and is obviously happy because stress will cause a relapse of the mange... she must be very content :-) |
