Good morning guys 
Already having issues with the day. Was in the middle of saying Hi about 20 minutes ago when the computer made a "funky"noise and shut off...WTH? So I quickly realize there's no power along the one wall of outlets in the kitchen or where the computer is. Ground faults not tripped, fuses not tripped, ???? power working everywhere else. ARGGHHHH!!!!!!
So having priorities, I quickly grabbed the coffee pot and moved it to a location that worked 'cuz goodness knows I can't deal with this before I've had my coffee. Then out to the shed for an extension cord so I can power up the computer. Everything computer related is in a surge protector, but I was worried anyway. So far, so good. Nothing appears to be "fried".
Well, I'm off to work soon. Guess I'll deal with it later. Our neighbor is an electrician, so hopefully he can figure it out. The one GFI outlet isn't tripped, but the reset button isn't working either, so I think it's probably the culprit.
Bad thunderstorms and lots of rain last night so it's a bit cooler today...but eventually supposed to hit 68* which isn't bad

| Oh, um, heck no!!!! LOL! I meant for later...Coffee's all I do on weekday mornings. Kids eat at school because they'd rather sleep in than get up early for breakfast and like me, they don't like to roll out of bed and immediately eat. Takes a little while for them to wake up - teenager thing? |

Whew! I thought I was slackin!! lol I have been yelling to my son for 10 minute to get dressed and brush his teeth . You'd think I asked him to climb a mountain....the littlest things distract them!!! I can't stop reading, I haven't been on since yesterday! |

Good morning!! I don't have time to read all the posts since last night so I will have to check in later. Heading out soon to take Nick to the specialist. He seems to be perfectly fine today. Yay!
The medicine makes him hyper and he was up half the night playing with his trains. He's already built a new track this morning, colored and cut paper, won a race with his hot wheels, took apart and put back together a toy, played fetch with Mario, and sang about 20 songs!! Did someone say, "Coffee"?? 
I'm just SO happy he's feeling better! My husband and I just laid in bed and laughed last night listening to him sing to his stuffed animals!! I will check in later to let you know what the doc says.... prayers it's NOT Mario!! |

Jan, I've got a good feeling about your suregery. Shannon, no more crazy talk about Mario triggering the asthma- I read somewhere that kids without pets are actually more prone to asthma, pets help build good antibodies or some such.
Well, I want to eat lunch today, so I guess it's back to the salt mines for me.

Shannon. I just saw this and your post about yesterday with litte Nick.
I am glad that Nick is feeling better. I hope that the specialist is able to diagnose him. It can't be Mario!
You have sure been through a lot lately, you really need this vacation.

| good morning all......have had a rough day already....had to do cpr class this morning...kids were making me angry before school etc etc....were supposed to have tornados today.....just another wonderful addition to my day.....have a good one all....and Jan I am praying for you....shannon I have a friend who is alergic to cats but takes alergy meds and it able to have them!!!!! I guess I am a little late but good morning to everyone. I had exams this morning and now I am at work. Mari, you are right where does is say you have to work?.....I am really tired and I am doing the Atkins diet so no Coffee or Coke for me. .
Tracey-Good luck with electrical stuff, wires confuse me.
Jan- Good luck
Shannon- I had asthma when I was younger. Allergies usually trigger it. I am allergic to everything if I go by my allergist but it went away after puberty. They may tell you Mario is part of the problem but so is 100 other things. Good luck.

| Shannon- I am allergic to cats. Growing up, we always had cats and over time my allergies got better. I am still allergic to them (and MANY other things) but it doesn't rule my life. I have a cat now and she hardly bothers me. Other people's cats actually trigger my allergies more. I think because I've been exposed to cat hair/dander my whole life, I have just gotten used to it and my allergies have improved. I would imagine it would be the same way with dogs and asthma/allergies. |
