Ok, I understand. Molly IS a dog and she IS a rat-terrier, so I understand the need for her to kill little baby birds. But does she HAVE to run in the house with it, dropping feathers and guts all over the place? Then does she HAVE to crawl under the bed with it? BAD MOLLY. UPSET MOMMY. |

You know this is actually very normal! A lot of dogs will set their "Catch" at the door or even at your feet. The messier the better for them because then they have something to roll in! After that they will share by rubbing up against you. It is good that your dog loves you and has the respect to share with you!

| Hope you had backup to take care of the recovery. I don't know that I could have cleaned that one up. |

Ahhhh, so ya'll did hear the screaming. Blah, it took me forever to get up the nerve to pick up the remains. My girls are relentless...I'm not looking forward to bunny season. They got 3 of them last year
Of course, right now, Molly is all curled up in her little bed looking as innocent and sweet as apple pie. What a charmer.

Yep, doggies do as doggies does. Our rattie hasn't nailed anything yet, as we keep a close eye on him. The critters have learned not to enter our back yard, as it's fenced and Bailey is allowed off-leash!! Growing up, our Springer Spaniel would bring back all sorts of critters when we went to my Grandparents farm. Rats, groundhogs, etc... She was fearless!! Our neighbor has a cat that took a liking to me... I spend a good bit of time in the yard and he's left me birds by my favorite chair. He's pretty shy, but will sit a distance away while I , um, inspect his offerings. |

Just be glad it wasn't a SNAKE!!!!! Got one of those from the Dobies once. They were so proud. I was so freaked out! Also got a Rat once, in our bed. It wasn't quite dead and when it hit the bed it was running. SO WAS I!!!!! Dogs, gotta love em. |

| Seriously, I don't mind the dead things as much as I hate it when they have to roll in cow manure! And has to be the nice gooey fresh stuff, not the dry old stuff. That is horrible! I end up grabing a dog to pet or pick up and they are coated in the stuff. and if one gets into it they all get into it. |
