Okay, I had to leave Mario for an hour today and I was so upset by the way he looked at me as I was leaving!!  
He will jump in my arms if he sees me with purse and car keys. He KNOWS I'm going somewhere and he insists on coming with me!! 
As I was TRYING to walk out the door, Mario jumped in my arms and got all excited. I had to put him down and explain to him why he couldn't come. I would only be an hour and would he please forgive me?? 
I got all choked up in the car as I saw Mario in the front window watching me leave!!
It was then that I decided I need therapy!!
(therapy for leaving Mario...not for trying to rationalize my actions to a dog!!) LOL  Oh, I need help! |

| My two are always giving me guilt trips for leaving them! Im just glad they have each other! Charlie will sit by the door and cry forever when anyone leaves with out him. Luckily sometimes I can take them to work when its not too busy! |

LOL, don't their sad little faces just tear your heart out?
I always have a hard time leaving mine in the morning. All 4 line up on the couch and look at me with sad faces...but it's great to come home later. I open the door and the 3 ratties all come running to greet me while squeaking toys!  |

I know what you mean! For some reason, Bob thought he could go with me this morning when I was leaving for work. He sat by the front door and when I told him he couldn't go, he walked over to the couch with his little head hanging down.  |

 I love to be greeted by Mario!! I don't feel as guilty if someone is home and I need to leave...it's leaving him in an empty house that kills me!! Oh, but my welcome home is heaven!! |

| Poor Mario - and poor you!!! It is hard leaving Daisy while I go to work, but she jumps in her crate, gets her treat, and doesn't whine or cry so I don't feel too bad. |
