Sara, how old is she now? Are you writing a list of instructions for me; like, how much food at each meal, how often to feed her, etc.?

Pamwh: Maybe this little trial period with Jolene's baby will be a good test to see if a new puppy would fit in your house and with Bob ?? And, maybe you and your hubby will fall so in love with her that you'll get Zorro when you get home

She will be 7.5 weeks when you get her.  I will have a little pack for you with food, blankets, toy, extra puppy pads for her crate (just in case) and instructions.  I sent you an email to with my phone number so you can call me at anytime.    Dont worry, she will be just fine.  My mom took Gracie a couple of days ago and she was upset the first day and just wanted to be held but now she is running around and playing with my parents 30 pounds beagles.

Jolene is sooo lucky! I wish I could get another puppy but no way would my boyfirned let me get another dog, I kind of had to get Kayla behind his back. Good think he loves her! Mabey when we are married and have a house he will let me get another. But we are still not sure if Kayla is having puppies. SHe is going to the vet on monday so we will see then.

Mabey I can talk him in to keeping one!

I seriously doubt if it would convince Terry to let me have another puppy.  It will probably be the opposite and reinforce his belief that one dog is enough.  I feel bad that a lot of her care is going to be up to him.  I volunteered without asking him first and he's not too happy about it.

Can you imagine how happy he would be if a family who already had a female rattie and a charter fishing boat would adopt him?

Well when my husband gets there they can complain and be upset together. My husband is mad that he has to go to Dallas area all by himself. Its not my fault I have to work!

I wish I could talk my MIL into taking him, but she says she doesn' t want to be tied down with a dog right now.  She spent years taking care of her husband who had Alzheimer's.  Right after he died, her mother came to live with her and she spent the next few years taking care of her.  She passed away last year and my MIL is able to travel and enjoy her hobbies for the first time since she retired almost 10 years ago.  I can understand how she feels.

You know, Rhonda, Zoo Zoo's mom, lives up here in north Texas.  I wonder if she would like another rattie?  Let's see what she thinks of Emma when she meets her tomorrow afternoon.

Sara, do you have any business cards you can send with Emma? If anyone who sees me with her says anything about wanting one, I will tell them about Zorro and give them your card.
