 Rattitude Problem

My boss called in sick again! Our re-estimated budget for FY006-07 and the forecasted budget for FY07-08 is due today. Guess who has been working on it all week while my boss is staying home? Plus, I have to attend a meeting for her over at the Municipal Center across town at lunchtime. Do you think I'll start getting her salary since I'm doing her job?
She is ready to retire but can't yet. She has over 900 hours of sick time accrued, but can only get paid for 720 of them upon retirement, so I guess she's going to use the excess before she retires. |

I know, that's the worse part about the meeting...being away from y'all! They are feeding us lunch, though. Maybe I could put a tip jar on my countertop at work. |

| I feel the same way at my work now. Everyone calls in sick or quits and it just leaves me. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one that cares if anything get done. Sorry you are having a bad day. |

Hmmmmm... can't say I really blame her for not wanting to lose her time, ya know? Sorry you're ending up being the "victim" of it though !

I wouldn't mind so much about her taking sick time if she would plan it for more convenient times. She is burnt out and bored and is just going through the motions until she can retire...but that is over two years away! |
