Ok, y'all, I can't take it anymore.  My teeth are throbbing, my head is pounding, my eyes and nose are pouring and I am just miserable. I am taking Zyrtec and an antibiotic but they are not producing the instant results I want. SOMEBODY TELL ME SOMETHING!!! ( I am NOT the most patient person!).

I agree with Sarah...go back to bed! You need to rest your body so that it can fight this illness. Drink lots of liquids (not sodas) and watch bad daytime TV.

Nope.  You are the one that first talked about the electric slide.  You're gonna be well and you are not gonna sit on the sidelines!  (That actually means, get better fast)

Pami- I'm no expert, Just thinkin...Isn't Zyrtec for allergy symptoms? Maybe you need a decongestant or anti-inflamatory nasal spray.
Sorry you feel so bad. Wish I had that magic potion, cause I'd send it!

Since so many of us seem to be feeling puny, how about Shannon makes one really BIG pot of her chicken-noodle soup and passes out about 150 straws to suck it up with?

Pami---whatever it takes, girl, you DO IT.  GET WELL!
I'll give you some of my sick days from work---I have a few I can spare.

Thanks Paul. Wish that would work. and I am hoping this is only allergies.. I mean thats what it feels like anyway.... BUT, if the Zyrtec isn't working, I may need to change to something else...

Pami, I know this sound horrible, but it really isn't.  See about getting a hypertonic nasal wash--a saline solution that you use to rinse you sinuses.  You warm the water and add the saline mixture and wash your nasal passages.  I think it is soooo soothing -- and it will help cleanse all that gunk out.

Also, get some Mucinex D and take it with lots of water -- that helps think the mucas.  I am becoming the world's expert on sinus conditions.

Yuck!

My doctor put me on it -- of course I'm having sinus surgery on Tuesday
But, yes, I believe it is supposed to help all congestion.  And honestly, try the nasal rinse.

Mucinex D helps unplug everything! I used it when my ears were infected and clogged up. It's a miracle drug, but it tastes horrible! I would just shudder everytime I took one, which hubby thought was hilarious.

Pami - remember to drink a lot - the Mucinex won't work if you're dehydrated. (At least that's what the dr. told me...)
