His portal vein is fine! It was just a bad read the other day, with other ultra sound...I worried for 3 days! Today's ultra sound showed great profusion. The hal he is on can cause high lactic acid too. We still do not know what is causing high lactic acid tho.Thanks for all the prayers! |

He is awake more now, than a few days ago. They are down to 10 on his breathing tube,and peep 6. They are hoping to get the tube out at least by Friday, maybe sooner...

| He had a pretty good night. He has had tow bowel movements since yesterday, so they are going up on his nutrition. This is good. His nutrition has been so bad, but with adding more, it will help with healing. They are leaving the dressing off his belly woud to let air get to it to heal it better. The dr hopes to get him off the breathing tube, and onto bi-pap, in 1-2 days! His belly is so much smaller. |
