Be a part of the National Effort led by the Virginia Tech Alumni Association called Orange and Maroon Effect Friday. The are asking everyone in the US to support the campus community by wearing orange and maroon on Friday April 20th. Join millions who will express their care and concern and intent to build stronger communities. Pass this on to all of your friends.

A bunch of people at work are dressing in maroon and orange tomorrow - and we are taking a photo and sending it with a support message. The owner of our company is the President of the National Society for Professional Engineers and is very involved with Virginia Tech.

| If Austin keeps on the path that he SWEARS he's gonna go when he grows up. (he has wanted to be a forensic scientist since he was like 3...for the FBI!!..gonna give his Momma a Heart attack!!!) He will probably end up going to Va. tech, since it is the best college around for that field...so I will give them all the support they need...in good times and in bad!!!!! |

I don't look good in orange, (therefore don't own any) even tho it is a GATOR color. Maroon is just too close to the Garnet that FSU wears...sooo, maybe I'll just whip up a pin or something to support VA Tech.

I don't have those colors either; that being said, there is a huge campaign going around on the internet to use the ribbon as avatars/profile pics in memory for a week. I used it for my myspace space and on here. Feel free to steal it from me...I think it's a great idea.  |

Hmmmm, for a week? We might want to postpone our movie theme a week, if we want to use those as avatars. What do y'all think? Should we wait until week after next? Or go ahead and do it and just post them as pictures, or what? |
